Certifix provides mobile fingerprinting services designed for convenience, accuracy, and flexibility. Whether you’re an individual, small business, or large organization, our certified technicians bring professional Live Scan and ink fingerprinting directly to your location—anywhere in California or select areas of Florida.
We handle fingerprinting for employment, licensing, certifications, background checks, and more. Submit a quick online request to receive a personalized quote based on your location, service type, and number of applicants.
Provide your ORI number, applicant type, event address, and estimated number of applicants. You can choose to pay by credit card or charge to your Certifix account.
You’ll receive an instant quote that includes the service fee, per-applicant rolling fees, and any applicable group discounts.
Choose a date and time that works best for your group. Mobile appointments are available 7 days a week, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Our technician will arrive on time with a fully equipped mobile Live Scan system. Ink fingerprinting is also available upon request.
Fingerprints are electronically submitted within 24 hours through encrypted transmission to the appropriate agency (DOJ, FBI, FDLE, or AHCA).
If fingerprints are rejected due to image quality, we’ll return to re-capture and resubmit them at no additional cost.
Mobile fingerprinting allows a Certifix technician to come to your location to complete Live Scan or fingerprint card services. You can provide payment using a credit card or a Certifix account number.
Submit your request online, provide applicant and event details, and choose your payment method. A technician arrives at your location with all necessary equipment to process fingerprints onsite.
If your agency doesn’t provide an ORI—or if you need fingerprint cards—check the box indicating that you do not have an ORI. We can process FD-258 fingerprint cards for any applicants who are not Live Scan eligible.
There is no minimum number, but the service fee adjusts based on how many applicants you include in your request.
We offer Live Scan submissions for DOJ, FBI, FDLE, and AHCA, as well as FD-258 fingerprint card printing. Mobile service is available statewide in California and in select areas of Florida.
Most applicants take 5–10 minutes. Larger groups can be fingerprinted efficiently during your scheduled appointment window.
We’ll review your details, assign a technician, and confirm your appointment. You’ll receive a confirmation email and a calendar invite with the date, time, and final instructions.
No. Your card is authorized but not charged until after the fingerprinting event is completed.
Yes. If your organization has a Certifix billing account, you may select Charge to Account.
A valid government-issued photo ID and any agency-required forms (e.g., Request for Live Scan Service forms). Fingerprint cards are supplied by Certifix when needed.
We recommend 3–5 business days in advance, though same-week appointments may be available based on technician availability.
Yes. Your technician can accommodate changes as long as you notify us before the event. Final billing is based on the number of applicants processed.
Yes. We can schedule multi-site visits or repeating appointments for onboarding cycles, compliance requirements, or large hiring events.
We only require a small indoor workspace with a table, two chairs, and access to power.
For Live Scan submissions, results are transmitted electronically by the California DOJ, FBI, FDLE, or AHCA, depending on the agency selected. For fingerprint cards, completed FD-258 cards are handed to you onsite for mailing.
