Live Scan Fingerprinting at UPS Store Locations
Certifix Live Scan offers nationwide fingerprinting services that can be completed at select UPS Store locations. These services are accessible across all 50 states, providing a convenient option for individuals who need to submit fingerprints for background checks or regulatory purposes.
How It Works
To complete your fingerprinting at a UPS Store, you must first enroll online. During enrollment, you’ll provide your application details, submit payment, and receive a QR code. This QR code is required at the UPS Store location in order to proceed with fingerprint capture. Walk-ins are not accepted without a QR code.
Available Services At UPS Locations
The following fingerprinting services are available for online enrollment and completion at participating UPS Store locations:
FD-258 Fingerprint Card Printing Service
We’ll digitally capture your fingerprints and print them onto an FD-258 fingerprint card, which is accepted for many state and federal applications. The card is mailed directly to you, and additional copies can be requested if needed.
Florida Level 2 Live Scan Submission (FDLE/AHCA)
We electronically transmit your fingerprints to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) or the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) for Level 2 background screening. You’ll receive a Transaction Control Number (TCN) that allows you to track the status of your submission.
FBI Fingerprint-Based Background Check
This service allows you to request your Identity History Summary Report from the FBI. After fingerprint capture, the report is delivered electronically for personal review or third-party use.
California Out-of-State Fingerprinting (FD-258)
If you’re located outside California but need to submit fingerprints to the California DOJ, we’ll capture your fingerprints, print them onto an FD-258 card, and mail it to you along with all required submission forms. You’ll then send the completed package to the DOJ for processing.

Store participation and availability may vary, and hours are set by individual store operators. Always check with the location in advance to confirm availability. All services require online enrollment and presentation of a valid QR code at the time of fingerprinting.

How to Get Fingerprinted at a UPS Location
Enroll Online
To complete your fingerprinting at a participating UPS location, you must first enroll online. During the enrollment process, you’ll provide your application details, submit payment, and receive a QR code.
Receive Your QR Code
Bring your QR code and a valid photo ID to the UPS location. The fingerprinting technician will scan the code to access your information and proceed with capturing your fingerprints. No additional payment is required at the location.
Get Fingerprinted at a UPS Location
Walk-ins are not accepted without a QR code—online enrollment is required.
