How can I request a copy of my fingerprint-based record in California?
To request a personal record review in California, submit your fingerprints through a California DOJ Record Review Live Scan. The California Department of Justice will mail the results directly to you. If you also need an FBI Identity History Summary, you must enroll separately for an FBI fingerprint-based background check by selecting the FBI service during enrollment. Request an FBI fingerprint-based background check.
